Bug Block from Absorbine is true professional strength pest control in the big, bold purple bottles. Bug Block contains 0.10% Pyrethrin and 0.20% Permethrin, the two most important active ingredients essential for rapid knock-down and kill. However, Bug Block contains no oily petroleum distillates to irritate or attract dirt and dust. As strong as Bug Block is, it's approved for use on your horse and everywhere your horse might encounter flies. Use it in the stall, all around the barn or outside where bugs congregate. It can even be used on dogs and puppies over 12 weeks of age. Kills and repels more than 70 species of pests. That includes all the common species of flies, plus hard-to-kill threats such as Scorpions, Ticks, Gnats, Cockroaches and Mosquitoes, including the Culex species which has been known to transmit the West Nile Virus. Unlike some insecticides, you don't have to "repeat daily" with Bug Block. Effectiveness lasts for 7 to 14 days after the initial treatment period.
